Hmmmm – not sure I’m my work either… interesting.
It’s rather heartening when you can represent a real person you dislike as a character in your piece and then do all sorts of vindictive things to that fictitious person- the kind of things that you’d love to do to the real person, but can’t. It’s as good as burning an effigy- without the theatrics! 😀
On another note, I really think Mark Twain is one of the wittiest writers ever and there are many of his quotes that are my favorites, so I’m sharing one for a future Saturday:
“Everything has its limit – iron ore cannot be educated into gold.”
That’s something we writers should remember once in a while, when we’re pushing ourselves too hard.

I love this quote! I haven’t killed someone yet, but I have taken characteristics of people I disliked immensely and channeled them into villains who go to jail.
