I have the feeling I should recognize this author. I sure like his advice:

Do you know who this is?

Yep, Neil Gaiman. Don’t stop at knowing who he is. Some of his books are awesome. I love American Gods, Anansi Boys, and The Graveyard Book.

I think he’s being unrealistic in that video, though. Elves do my writing for me all the time. It’s just that they steal the stories afterward. Little jerks.

Just confirmed our library has some of his books… I’ll try one or two, thanks

My goodness… you all know so much… Carson, thanks for posting the link to Neil’s site… and thanks to the rest of you who knew/know who he is.

  • Beaten to the punch. Neil Gaiman.

  • I went to one of Neil Gaiman’s readings and signings years ago when he was promoting American Gods. Loved it! Definitely one of my top favorite authors.

And I’m still waiting for the elves to show up…

  • He seems like a pretty cool guy :). I was thinking about the go out and live thing the other day. I think the more we do that, better our writing will get as well. Cool video Anne.
