Friday Fun For Freelance Writers

You know those boxes of magnetized words you can put on your fridge and let everyone arrange them into poetry?

Sure you do. Now you can play it online at http://www.abc.net.au/splatt/games/poetry/default.htm

The site will let you save your poems, copy using print screen, edit them and you can even put them on your blog like I have.

Deserves another time sink warning.

If you haven’t yet tried the Creative Copy Challenge I, well, challenge you to do so.

  • Hi Anne! I just wanted to thank you so much for promoting CCC. It’s so much fun and I enjoy taking part every week!

Here is another fun game for writers you might want to play, but you have to be a member of Facebook. It’s called In a Sentence and can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/#!/inasentence?ref=mf

Every day, you get one word to use in a sentence; at the end of the day, winners are selected. Each month, everyone gets points tallied up and the people with the most points win prizes. Of course, the most fun is seeing what everybody comes up with! 🙂
