Wanna Win Some Money?

Lol. Who doesn’t?

T.W. Anderson is challenging all of us to write about Global Awareness, or “how to remain globally relevant as a freelance writer, and what are some proven methods of success that can help you achieve your goals in 2010.”

He’s looking for blog posts and won’t accept entries until 00:01 GMT January 1st, 2010. (The international flavor is showing up already.)

Prizes aren’t huge, but it sounds like fun.

Take a look and if you’re so inclined mark it on your calendar. And if you win, I want to know about it here too.

  • Thanks for the shout-out, Anne.

Indeed, Toni. As someone who lives and works abroad (outside of America), I regularly communicate with the people who are making a living as freelancers outside of the US. The vast majority of my work is actually from non-US clients, and in today’s world of instant communication on a worldwide basis, it’s a vital key to the success of many different people working in many different markets.

It will be interesting to see what kind of other international writers (or writers working internationally) we hear from in the next week or so as this contest goes on. Happy New Year!
