Writers and Taxes

I guess it’s happened one day at a time, but it doesn’t feel that way to me. We’re almost at the middle of March which means we’re closing in on tax day in the United States.

I know I don’t add and subtract well, so I use Quicken Home & Business 2009
and hire an expert to put my taxes together. It’s a formula that works well for me.

Kristen King, over at Inkthinker has put together a list of 25 Tax Resources For Freelance Writers.

The list has three parts. The first is  software, including online filing etc. Next comes books and articles on the web to help you understand exactly what you need to know, do and how.

Thanks Kristen for a great resource.
