Thanks for an infographic that gets to the point! Many infographics are too tedious for me to read. They have too much information jammed into one space.

Writers and marketing

Many writers fear sales and marketing, or they don’t know how and where to market their writing. This is where outsourcing can be useful. As long as writers know ‘who’ their target market is they could hire someone or ask family and friends to help them with marketing.

Final thoughts

In general, I believe if writers shift their perception of marketing from something that’s viewed as a chore to one that’s fun, they’d have better success selling and promoting their writing.

Amandah, that looks like it would make a good infographic… shall we try a joint one? Do you want me to do the graphic part? It actually was kind of fun.

Simple is about the only way I could figure to do that one. Thanks.

Thanks Sharon – infographics seem to be all the rage at the moment – wonder how much I can get paid for them… and if I could convince a client to keep it that simple and fluff-free… not all topics adapt that easily.
