Not writing keeps you flexible, too. You save a lot of clutter around the house, and you never have to worry about paying high income taxes. The benefits go on and on.

And since I can only effectively procrastinate on one thing at a time, avoiding the writing forces me to get other important things done. I have, for example, just washed all the lightbulbs in the master bathroom. Unfortunately, as I was doing so, I thought of an Indian monster to add to one of my 23 unfinished plays.
