[tuesday]Awhile ago I posted Literary Agents and Info Found On Twitter – just made sure the links still work.
Here are 5 blogs by literary agents. (I found ‘em by googling blogs of literary agents):
- Miss Snark, the literary agent. This woman has found her voice, and while it isn’t pleasant it is fun, at least for awhile. It’s also accurate we can all learn something there.
- Rants and Ramblings by Rachelle Gardner. Rachelle often answers questions from readers about the literary agency process. She also has her own submission guidelines posted.
- Nathan Bransford, an agent with Curtis Brown has his own blog. Check out his “The Essentials” (over on the left about half way down) to get a good overview of the whole process of working with an agent from query through publishing.
- Pub Rants. This agent, known only by her first name, knows her stuff.
- MacGregor Literary, founded by Chip MacGregor who has placed over 1,000 books. Worth reading.
What’s been your experience with literary agents?
Write well and often,

great website! I am an aspiring freelance writer, and you seem to have a wealth of information to offer. I have subscribed to your blog, so I can stay up to date. I also recently started my own blog, and I added you to my blogroll. http://lifebeyonddeadlines.wordpress.com/
Thanks… love the title of your blog April. Hard to remember that there is life beyond deadlines.

The first one hasn’t been active since 2007. Did I get the wrong link?
