Good video. Interesting that when Ray wrote "The Lake," he wept. I call that the 'salt water test.' If a tale or a poem doesn't affect the writer, it's unlikely to touch the reader. That video seems to be quite old. I've heard Ray speak several times over the years. I hope to hear him again, but each year I wonder if he'll be there the next. That's a beautiful story. Isn't that why we probably all write? To write for us - or in essence, being true to ourselves? I think that's one of the reasons the Creative Copy Challenge is so fun.
