Looks like No 3, Children’s Story Writer, has its Web site all set for you to do some writing for them — without the contract. Does not look right to me — Writer beware! There are, I fear, some out there who are even worse than the low-paying unappreciative types, and these are the ads trying to get you to do the work without any pay. And not even a come-on of calling it an internship. In this ad, they say they want the story to be about 1100 words and ask you to write the first 3 pages (there are your 100 words), but also claim these stories are to be between 15 – 20 pages of text (what? a mini page?). Anyway – this does not look kosher, people!
