I've been subscribing to your newsletter for several months now, but somehow this is the first time I've gotten around to posting a reply. I'm just starting out on my own, and have spent the last two months or so developing my business plan. I'm finally at the point where I'm beginning to attend networking events, and I plan on starting to cold call in a couple weeks. It's a scary prospect, but, like pitching my elevator speech to strangers at networking meetings, I'm sure it will get easier.
