Book/extended project writing experience –journalists/bloggers/social media gurus need not apply
An affinity for clear, basic writing that can be accessed by a mass audience
A great researcher, no matter the topic
A knack for finding interesting quotes and statistics that perfectly support your point
The ability to write in chatty magazine style
An overall pleasure to work with and very detail-oriented
The ability to adhere strictly to specs and guidelines and to write in the same vein as previously published material

Pay ranges between .10 – .14 per word. Projects range between 10,000 and 100,000 words.
