Okay, that’s almost David Pogue’s title. Pogue is the wonderfully insightful tech writer and editor over at The New York Times. He’s started a campaign to eliminate the boring, time consuming and unnecessary set of instructions you hear every time the party you call on a cell phone doesn’ answer.
You know, the “to leave a message… ” Pouge called his article Take Back The Beep.
It is, I think, a worthy effort. And it appears he’s having at least some impact.
You’ll find a list of places to complain and other interesting stuff.
Now, can we do the same for landlines?
