Okay, I’m bragging. I got my taxes filed way back in January and today I mailed the payments. Yep, I paid the income tax to both the feds and the state, and my self-employment taxes.
However, I remember clearly when taxes caused, well, all sorts of confusion in me.
Wordpreneur has put together a really nifty list of sites that can help with last minute tax stuff.
Of course, another great source of tax help is Kelly over at TaxGirl. I love her tag line: Because paying taxes is painful… but reading about them shouldn’t be.
Would that our government would hire tax form writers with this attitude. But that, I suppose, won’t happen this year, and probably not next either. Sigh.
Maybe we should create a proposal?
