I’ve been subscribing to your feed for a few months now, so I thought I should let you know about a few successes I’ve had with this list. I’ve found two jobs writing practice SAT questions and one grant writing job. Each has worked out to paying about $25 per hour. I have a Ph.D. in biology but I left research and am trying to build up a career in science writing. It seems grant writing could also be a good way to make money. I also just got a little article published in my weekly local newspaper, no pay, but a much-needed clip!

Your blog is great. Thanks for all the good advice! I am amazed you have time to post as much as you do in addition to your other writing.
