in Freelance Writing Jobs

Writing JobsWe end this week with 46 freelance writing jobs, blogging jobs, editing jobs and other freelance opportunities. It does seem like the freelance jobs are down a bit. My own hunch is that it’s temporary.

I also want to remind you that these are the freelance jobs that are posted. I suspect for every freelance writing job found on the ‘net there are many more that are elsewhere. Develop some resources in your own locale. Pick up the phone and call companies of all sorts and offer your services. If you make five calls a day, that’s 25 a week and at that rate you’ll soon land something.

Remember, the category How to get freelance writing jobs and the article, How to land a writing job may help you get the writing gigs you want.

Dear Anne, I think you website is great and I have gotten some writing jobs out of it and I regularly write for textbroker.com.,which is rather low paying. I am an excellent, engaging and well researched writer. If I’m going to write, and I have never had an article rejected, I really need to make it worth my while and get between fifty and one hundred dollars per piece. Any ideas? I can send you writing samples. Many thanks, James Tuthill 561 891 3930 james@kaleconstruction.com

Anne – Thank you so much for giving us your website and daily job leads list. Although I haven’t gotten any nibbles yet, I continue to find and respond to several listings per email. The job market for technical writers in the Denver area is pretty sluggish and has been since before Christmas. I really appreciate the leads that allow for telecommuting.

Thank you for providing this great resource!
