in Freelance Writing Jobs

We end 2008 with 35 writing, editing, blogging and translation jobs. I’m surprised that there are so many. It may very well be that there will be an abundance of freelance writing jobs in 2009 as companies realize even when they pay good rates, they save money because they don’t have to hire an employee to get a writing job done.

Hi Anne,
I just wanted to mention that one of your job links from Freelance Job Openings.com leads to jobsupermart.com. You have to fill out an application before you can apply for any job and their application is highly discriminatory by U.S. standards. They ask for race, height, weight as well as a number of other bits of information that they have no business asking for such as a photo and driver’s license. And this is all to just register on the site! I believe this is an offshore job site attempting to expand to the U.S. and of course every country will have different standards, but just a heads up on this one.
Thanks for all the great work you do. I always look forward to your emails in my inbox!
